Ubisoft is bringing back the Ghost Recon franchise in a big way! With not one, but two games locked and loaded and pointed directly at gamers wishlists. The first title Ghost Recon: Future Soldier was first seen by many at last years E3 but has been notably absent as of late. The newest trailers shown at this years press conference show off the new hardware you can use in game and the new ways you can interact with it. Kinect support is a big part of Ubisoft’s plan for the future of their XBOX 360 line and Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is no exception. With in-game voice controls and gesture based commands, this title appears to use Kinect in unison with your controller for a seamless experience.
Next up we have Ghost Recon Online, a free to play first-person shooter we first heard about a few weeks ago. The game will allow you the ability to play online for free but give you an opportunity to purchase in-game content such as better equipment and weapons. Ghost Recon Online aimes to take on games like Battlefield: Free to Play and maybe even steal some thunder from retail games like Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3.
No specific release dates were given for either of the upcoming titles but we hope to see them sometime over the next year.
