For those of you who haven’t heard, the Dragon Age II demo hits Xbox LIVE, PSN, and the PC next week. And even though BioWare has already offered up some goodies for finishing the demo, they have decided to tease us with even more rewards just for checking it out. Only this time they are dropping the gauntlet and issuing a challenge!

BioWare has stated that if there are 1,000,000 downloads of the demo between Feb 22^nd and March 1st, they will unlock two in-game items for everyone to enjoy. The two items in question are books of poems that, when read, bring you more money or more XP. There is a caveat, however. You must be logged-in to the EA servers while playing the demo for it to count, although log-ins across all three platforms count toward the ultimate goal. You can track the progress of the challenge at the game’s official website throughout the promotion.
Dragon Age II releases for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC on March 8^th in North America and March 11^th in Europe. So is anyone out there excited for this demo? What do you think of Bioware attaching prizes to it? Let us know your thoughts below!
