To celebrate Champions Online going free-to-play next week, developer Cryptic Studios is giving players the option of paying-to-play with a 20 percent discount on lifetime subscriptions from Jan. 25 to Feb. 4.
Lifetime subscriptions for Cryptic’s other MMO, Star Trek Online, is included in the sale in celebration of the game’s one year anniversary. With the discount, lifetime subscriptions for both titles will cost $239.99.
Purchasing a lifetime subscription in Champions Onlinemakes players Gold Members, allowing them open access to features that lowly Silver Members will have to buy or won’t have access to at all.
The sale on Champions Online and Star Trek Online begins Jan. 25 at 6 a.m. Pacific, and ends Feb. 4 at 10 a.m. Pacific.
