While Valve has always been the type of developer to release their stuff when they’re damn good and ready, here’s a little indication that their upcoming action-puzzler, Portal 2, might actually hit its April release date. EA Partners revealed that they will handle the distribution of the game through retail channels.
While Valve will still put the game on Steam on their own, EA Partners will put the game on Xbox 360 and PS3, as well as the in-store PC and Mac versions, similar to how the two companies handled the release of The Orange Box and Left 4 Dead franchise. While this isn’t a guarantee that the game will hit its April launch date, it’s still a good sign that we can expect to hop back into the franchise’s mind-boggling gateways on time.

One of the games I am most excited for next year. I really hope it comes out on time and that like Valve had said PS3 and PC will be able to play together online, because that would be awesome
