Quick hit here. Those of us wondering whether or not Nintendo had anything planned for Zelda's 25th anniversary (which is the silver anniversary, although i don't think it works like that) may have a little glimmer of hope. Kirby and Super Smash Bros designer Masahiro Sakurai posted the above picture to his Twitter feed earlier today. Attached to his E3 badge are two lanyards. One for the definite release, Skyward Sword, and the other mysteriously labeled "Zelda 25th Anniversary" with a picture of our silent Hero of Time. Since both his lanyards are for Zelda, it's just as likely that Sakurai is just a big Zelda fan, however, given his close relationship with Nintendo and the obvious focus of the pictures, I'm going to go ahead and get excited about it.

We'll have to wait and see until Nintendo's press conference, which we'll be covering here as it occurs: Tuesday, June the 7th at 9AM PST (12PM EST).
