Nintendo’s 3DS has an impressive line up planned for this year and that is due, in no small part, to Capcom pulling out the mothertruckin’ stops with their DS games. This week at Captivate 2011, we got more details on the first Resident Evil title headed to the new spatially-enhanced device.
Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D will see players take control of series veterans Chris Redfield, Krauser, Hunk, Jill Valentine, Albert Wesker and, Claire Redfield. Featuring remastered stages from Resident Evil 4 and 5 gamers will race the clock to wreak as much zombie carnage as possible in either solo or two player co-op over Ad Hoc or network-play.
The Skill Slot feature will give players the ability to customize their characters to their own play style with three slots that can be filled from over 30 skills including weapon improvements, reload speed, and melee abilities. The game will also give players the chance to lock-n-load with Jill Valentine in a complete demo for the forthcoming Resident Evil: Revelations.
Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D is headed to the 3DS this summer. Check out the new Tutorial Trailer here.
