EA released a brand new gameplay trailer for Battlefield 3 this week titled Fault Line Series. The video showcases DICE's brand new Frostbite 2.0 engine which is boasting some pretty fancy upgrades. A few things that really stood out for me were just how well the lighting and textures looked as well as the movement of the soldiers, i.e. when they're all running down that narrow alley. Battlefield 3 looks like it could be one intense FPS if this trailer is anything to go by and that distorted theme song sends chills down my spine every time I hear it. Be on the look out for Part 2 of the Fault Line Series which hits the internet on March 16.
Battlefield 3 looks so beautiful. No wonder it's coming out next year :(
