For a very brief moment the ever vigilant internet caught site of a, yet unannounced, special edition of Sucker Punch’s highly anticipated sequel, inFAMOUS 2. The ‘Hero Edition’ reportedly containes a 8.5 “ statuette of Cole McGrath, the game’s leading man, a copy of the game’s soundtrack, a voucher for some digital unlocks (powers, weapons, skins and the like), an inFAMOUS comic, as well as a replica of Cole’s trademark backpack from the game.
The rapidly vanishing Amazon post listed the Hero Edition with a price tag of $99.99. As of now, there has been no official confirmation of any of this. But the guy who erroneously posted the listing has since been drawn and quartered. So what do you guys think? Are you looking forward to this game? Those kinds of things always remind me of cartoons. Seeing Daffy Duck jumping around going all crazy (thats what she said) and run off into the distance.
I cant say yet if this game will be good or not, to few information in my opinion has been given by Sucker Punch.
I’m really looking forward to this game and should the UK get this edition (We sometimes dont get them or get smaller, less packed versions) then i would 100% pick one up. Here’s hoping, fingers crossed and all that jazz!
When did it go so out of fashion to just release one standard version of a game? literally every other game has a “special/epic/hero/collectors” edition these days.
hell… if everything “supposedly” listed is available for 99 bucks, sounds like a pretty good deal imo… specially the Cole backpack…. do want….
Im looking forward to the game but im not bursting at the seems waiting for this.
I hope the put a lot of stuff right that was really annoying from the first game like all that fuckin shard collecting.
As for the CE ‘Meh’ If the money justifys the deal then thats good but thats rarely the case these days. Only CE ive ever felt i got good value for money was the Bioshock 2. That thing was BIG and full of content.
I shall wait and see how this game develops. SO MANY other titles to be spunking my hard earned cash on right now and comming very soon

Want the I2, but the big boy version doesnt interest me.If it’s a Bioware game Ill consider a collectors edition(no pun intended), but if’s not, pass 98% of the time.

Cool. I back pack especally can cost alought and the soundtrack is wourth at leas 10 bucks. This is very cool, but i might not be able to buy LA.NOIR if i buy this speceal edition. But seryusly i almost passed out when i saw this news post
I’d buy the backpack for $99, the rest would be a bonus. The only way this would e better is if sucker punch had each one couriered to you with all of that stuff in the bag its self by guys (wearing it) that look like Cole, charge an extra $50 sorted.
