Activision has announced that two TV shows will be getting the video game treatment sometime in the future. Fox’s Family Guy and ABC’s Wipeout are the two shows lucky enough to be entering the gaming universe.

This certainly won’t be the first Family Guy themed video game. But maybe we will get lucky and it will be the first one to live up to the high quality of the Seth MacFarlane created laugh-stravaganza. This also isn’t the first video game for Wipeout either. Last year saw a video game version of the bouncing pain-fest of a show on the Wii and DS. We wonder if this year’s version will be a Kinect game where you will be setting up the actual obstacle course in your living room (you will, of course, still have to move your coffee table).

No details about either game, including what platforms the games will be on, but when they give us more, you will be the first to know. You may now resume drinking your Pawtucket Patriot.
