Well, this is interesting. After rumblings that a Kinect-enabled Gears of War spin-off was in the works, the folks at Siliconera have uncovered some trademark listings on the US Patent and Trademark website for something called Gears of War: Exile.

The trademark filings cover everything from “video game software” to a “series of computer game hint books and instruction manuals” to “t-shirts”. Some logos have also been released (one of which is visible above). While no details are available, this could have something to do with the abandoned VGA announcement that Epic was supposed to make at the event.

Hopefully we’ll be able to get an official announcement out of Epic soon, but in the meantime, what do you think this could/should be?
