The Latest

Be it Street Fighter IV or Resident Evil 4, Capcom knows how to successfully play Shrinky Dinks with their beloved games. That is to say, they know how to scale them down for handheld platforms like iOS without sacrificing the qualities that made them so great in the first place. Now you can add another title to that list, as Devil May Cry will see an iPhone iteration later this month.

Devil May Cry 4: Refrain is an iPhone retooling of 2008’s Devil May Cry 4, offering ten levels as the protagonist Nero. The gameplay seems to copy the console version’s gun-swordplay mix quite accurately, and you’ll control Nero using virtual buttons on your device’s touchscreen. Nero is currently the only playable character, although Capcom is looking to include perennial series favorite Dante into the action in a later update.

Curious fans can snag Devil May Cry 4: Refrain later this month when it launches for $6.99. Are you interested in checking out this latest version of DMC 4? Let us know in the comments!
