Nintendo is holding a press conference in Amsterdam Jan. 19 to announce official international release dates and details for the 3DS.

We already know the 3DS is coming out Feb. 26 in Japan, but North America and European dates are still shaky, and the Amsterdam announcement is expected to nail these down. Because that’s what you do in Amsterdam—nail things. And hold press conferences for handheld devices largely marketed at minors, apparently.

The conference is still shrouded in mystery, but Nintendo will most likely announce launch titles and a price point for the system so we can save the last of our Christmas money accordingly.
