Many Battlefield 3 fans were worried that the “Physical Warfare” pre-order bonus would grant an unfair advantage on the multiplayer battlefield to those who shelled out $5 at their participating retailer. Well, DICE was nice enough to clarify the matter by proclaiming that said pre-order bonus is only a timed-exclusive, and the content will be available to everyone at a later point in the year. Oh, and it will be free too!

If you do happen to pre-order though, you will get the “Back to Karkand” themed expansion pack at no extra cost when it releases, so at least that is still an incentive to get the ole’ wallet out early.
