Sony Social Media Manager Jeff Rubenstein announced in a blog post today that all Playstation Network services will be fully restored by the end of the week. This includes:
In-game commerce
Redeem codes
Vouchers
Music Unlimited
Media Go
Said Kaz Hirai in a statment today, "We have been conducting additional testing and further security verification of our commerce functions in order to bring the PlayStation Network completely back online so that our fans can again enjoy the first class entertainment experience they have come to love. We appreciate the patience and support shown during this time.
Sony began bringing the services partially back online in Japan earlier this week, and the post speaks briefly about "considerable security enhancements to the network infrastructure." Specifically what that entails isn't mentioned, but it certainly must be extensive considering the time it took to implement. So how are we feeling out there?
