Atlus has sent word that the very promising-looking Trine 2 from developer Frozenbyte will not make its once scheduled target release date of Spring 2011, but instead will be hitting your platform of choice in “late Summer 2011″.
To help tide you over, I recommend you check out this rather awesome “Alluring Gameplay” trailer which delivers a glimpse of the gorgeous environment and clever physics-based gameplay you can expect when you play as the powerful knight, the swift rogue and the “crafty” wizard (aren’t all wizards “crafty”???).
Featuring sumptuous visuals, a masterful musical score, more puzzles, and the introduction of online support, Trine 2‘s eventual release on XBLA, PSN, and PC can be summed up as “better late than never.”
Who amongst you is excited about this one?

I am saddened, but with online support already having been added, the only thing that this game could do wrong, is not be longer than the first one.
