The first in-game footage of Rocksteady's upcoming game, Batman: Arkham City, was released today via IGN and it looks awesome! One of the big things the trailer gives us a glimpse of is the city traversal that will be an integral part of Arkham City. We get a look at the all new dive mechanic and it appears that Batman will use his grappling hook in a similar way Spider-Man would use his webs to swing from building to building.
Along with the glimpses of gameplay, we also get a look at some of the characters that will be an integral part of the game with Harvey Dent, Hugo Strange, Catwoman and the Joker all making an appearance in the trailer. October 18 seems like such a long ways away but it's looking like it will be well worth the wait.
