Let’s face it – when you think “party”, you rarely think about “Walmart”. It’s a given – which is why it makes so much sense for Killzone fans to celebrate the upcoming launch of Killzone 3 at Walmarts across the country. A post on the Official PlayStation Blog brigs word that on the night of February 21st, Killzone 3 fans will get the chance to play the game early at pre-launch events happening in participating 24 hour Walmart stores. Of course, you’ll wanna get there early (possibly to watch them physically roll back prices) to ensure you gain access to the goodies they’ll be handing out to the first few attendees.
Basically, the first 20 people to purchase the game will receive a Limited Edition Killzone 3 Poster and a voucher for the Retro Map Pack which includes two classic maps that have been completely redesigned. Also, select, more bad-ass stores, will be hosting tournaments where you can win a copy of the game, a Limited Edition Cloaking Helghast Marksman Action Figure or a Collectible Killzone 3 bag designed to undoubtedly impress the ladies in your neck of the woods.
