If you can tear yourself away from counting the passing seconds until the next Michael Bay Transformers film is released, here’s some news you may be interested in. High Moon Studios, the dev behind last years righteously fun Transformers: War for Cybertron, will be delivering the obligatory tie-in game for Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
The game will serve as a lead-up to the events of the film and will be set in a variety of locations across the globe including Detroit, the jungles of South America, Siberian military instillations and more. One of the game’s unique features (aside from having Michael Bay’s name on the case somewhere) is ‘Stealth Force’ mode, which is said to be a hybrid state combining the firepower of robot mode with the agility and speed of vehicle mode.
Transformers: Dark of the Moon is presumably set to launch around the film’s July 1st debut and will be heading to 360 and PS3. Behavior Interactive is developing a distinct version for the Wii and 3/DS consoles.
Did your summer just go to the next level or will you be avoiding this with even more ferocity than the film? Does High Moon’s involvement pique your interest? Do you long for a special edition autographed by the explosioned one? Let us know in the comments!
