Although it is not actually a big surprise, Ubisoft officially announced that two new HD collections will be making their way to the PS3 in March, Splinter Cell and Prince Of Persia.
The Splinter Cell Classic Trilogy HD will include Splinter Cell, Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow, and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. The collection will be available both on Blu-ray and as a digital download on the PSN store.
The Prince Of Persia Classic Trilogy HD, which is already available as a download from the PSN store, will become available as a retail purchase on Blu-ray when it releases along side the Splinter Cell trilogy on March 22nd. The Prince Of Persia Classic Trilogy HD consists of Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time, Prince Of Persia: The Warrior Within, and Prince Of Persia: The Two Thrones.
Both the Splinter Cell and the Prince Of Persia collections will retail for $39.99 at launch. What do you guys think? Interested?

I guess if i was a huge fan i would buy them, but i do not see a reason to buy them. However its nice to see that more hd remakes are being made.
The Prince of Persia trilogy has been out in Europe since December. I already have that but I’ve been going crazy with the lack of Splinter Cell on Ps3, what with conviction being a 360 exclusive, so I’m definitely on board for that!
bro you are not missing much, if you are fan of SC,.. Conviction would make you puke,..It is butchered beyond recognition,..
Yes!! Only Splinter Cells that were any good,.. now in HD,.. Hope they did not just port the PC versions, and polished them up a bit,..because they kind of look a bit dated,..
But first three games are still stellar,..
The last one was a piece of crap,… and was even worse then double agent,.. yes I went there,.. Splinter cell: Conviction was an abomination and spit in the face to the fans of SC series,..
