A quarterly financial report report for Marvel was found online and in it were some interesting but unsurprising revelations. Along with the Iron Man 2 game coming out next year, the rumored Thor title is launching alongside its movie in 2011 as well as the movie-based game for Captain America.

The previous Marvel movie titles for the first Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk were made my Sega and were horrible but Marvel has sinced promised that they’re no longer accept low quality games and promises gamers a much better experience with Iron Man 2 and all future titles going forward.

Thor and The First Avenger: Captain America release in the May and July of 2011 respectively, the same points they’re set to appear on the big screen.

Are you excited to play these Marvel superheroes in their own next-gen adventures or will these games be low quality let downs as in the past?

The release dates for the films are as follows: Iron Man 2 opens May 7, 2010, Thor opens May 20, 2011, The First Avenger: Captain America opens July 22, 2011 and The Avengers is scheduled to debut May 4, 2012. Expect the tie-in games to release at or around the same dates.
