Gamers are certainly a resourceful bunch. Only a few hours after Game Informer’s coded magazine cover for Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was revealed, the code was cracked by an enterprising (and possibly quite bored) Reddit user.

Reddit user dancrum figured out the puzzle, and his results (with the original text and translation both included) are below:

While translating the message into plain English does little to make it less cryptic, it’s still a pretty cool piece of lore for fans of Bethesda’s hot upcoming title. Agreed?
