According to an article on Destructoid today, Turn-10 has confirmed that Forza Motorsport 4, announced officially on Saturday on the VGAs, will sport Kinect functionality when it releases this fall. Don’t worry though, it most certainly is not a Kinect-only game. Your good ‘ol controller or driving wheel will work just fine.

Additionally, the article confirms that the ‘long-term parnership‘ between Forza and Top Gear, best know for its UK produced TV show for gear-heads, will extend to Forza Motorsport 4.

With Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (Spike’s 2010 Best Driving Game) and Gran Turismo 5 (for those of you with both systems) out this year, are you excited for Forza 4 in 2011? What do you guys think?

  2. Eh. There’s nothing fun in holding an imaginary wheel. Besides that, many if not most hardcore sim-racing fans already have a physical wheel. They’d never trade it in for an imaginary one, especially since it doesn’t offer any feedback.
One thing would be cool which is head tracking, but that’s about it to be honest.
