EA has revealed that gamers will get an early shot at more strategic dismemberment, as EA will be releasing a new single-player Dead Space 2 demo on Xbox LIVE and PSN on December 21 (December 22 in Europe). You’ll step back into the boots of Isaac Clarke in a new adventure through the Church of Unitology when the Necromorph outbreak hits.
The demo will give you a look at the updated stasis recharge mechanic, the improved telekinesis ability, as well as the new jet powered suit, which allows for 360 degree control in Zero-G space, five weeks before the game hits the shelves.
“The holidays are a great time to enjoy all forms of entertainment, and we can’t wait to give horror and action adventure gamers a taste of what awaits them in Dead Space 2,” said Steve Papoutsis, Executive Producer of the Dead Space franchise. “Releasing the demo five weeks before launch will not only re-connect players with our hero Isaac Clarke, but will also give them the opportunity to experience firsthand various jaw-dropping scenarios. It’s gonna be awesome.”
Will you check out the Dead Space 2 demo when it drops later this month?
