Braving icy roads and angry soccer moms might be par for the course for those looking to score some gaming bargains on Black Friday, but for those who would rather not leave the house to get some good deals, Xbox LIVE has got your back. The XBL Marketplace will be offering a myriad of excellent sales this week (not just Friday), including half-off deals on some fantastic games, add-ons, avatar accoutrements and movies.
The list of deals includes Portal: Still Alive for 400 MS Points (down from 1200; but you already have it…right?), both Monkey Island games, Mega Man 10, Madden NFL Arcade, and Magic the Gathering, all of which have been slashed 50 percent to 400 MS Points. Additionally, add-ons like Alan Wake: The Signal, Splinter Cell Conviction Deniable Ops: Insurgency, and Trials HD The Big Pack have also gotten a price chop good for this week, as have movies like Cop Out, 300, and The Losers, although only in the US.

Downloading Portal now, not a Half-Life fan so wasn’t keen on buying the oange box just for Portal, at the same time didn’t want to pay 1200MSP for it.
400MSP though, can’t beat that.
You guys better check Steam sales, you can buy 10 copies of Half-life 2, 6 copies of Borderlands(for your friends) and even get the chance of getting 5 games for free, note that are five games of your wishlist, so if you are wishing for something like Deus Ex:HR, The Witcher 2 or maybe Brink, you just might earn them, although you’d have to wait for the actual release, but anyway: Steam Give and Get Sale, from nov. 24th to 29th, do yourself a favor and go check it out!
