Remember when Halo wasn’t exactly Halo? Master Chief wasn’t the Master Chief we know now, there wasn’t any Mjolnir armor, the world looked different, and pretty much the entire game was still in it’s conceptional stages. We all know how Halo: Combat Evolved looked when it debuted on the original Xbox, but someone seems to have a soft spot for the, at least then, Macintosh version.
Simply known as Will (or, ‘Will’), this gamer utilized the Theater mode in Bungie’s latest title, Halo: Reach, to recreate the first screenshot from Halo’s original concept. No joke, this pic is pretty freakin’ amazing. I can’t even begin to fathom how many times it took Will to get the Banshee aligned correctly with the Warthog and, geez, the whole entire scene! Dedication is all I can say.
