A little PSA for you Gearheads out there in Gear-land, Epic Games has begun the Gears of War 2 ‘Thanks-Gibbing’ 10 XP event which lasts for nine (9) days starting today. Another little tidbit of info for this event, Horde has been redone for the time being to help gamers get the Seriously 2.0 achievement, which, is quite the bitch when attempting to gain it through the campaign.

Here is a tip that Epic’s Rod Fergusson posted on his Twitter:

“Playing Thanks-Gibbing Horde will help you towards the Seriously 2.0 achievement but not without a challenge. Map selection is going to be key”

Be sure to have your game restarted if you’ve been playing all night to ensure the changes go into effect. Have fun out there!
