Rockstar certainly isn't taking any breaks when it comes to Red Dead Redemption. The latest DLC, Liars and Cheats, was released just last week, and now it seems Rockstar has already moved on to promoting their next expansion for the open world Western, Zombies.
You heard correct, the newest DLC for Red Dead Redemption, titled Undead Nightmare, will see John Marston battling not only the undead, but zombified wildlife as well, please let there be zombie bears. Here's what you can expect in the newest DLC, straight from the horses mouth:
"This fall, prepare yourself for a shocking original experience introduced to the world of Red Dead Redemption
- with the Undead Nightmare Pack.
Unleashed upon the world of Red Dead Redemption, the Undead Nightmare Pack will feature an entirely new mostly single-player campaign that follows John Marston as he tries to find a cure for the highly infectious zombie plague that has spread across the frontier.
In addition to this epic new single-player adventure, The Undead Nightmare Pack also features brand new gameplay mechanics, weapons, zombie animals, mythical creatures and even a brand new secret location. All this, plus some exciting new multiplayer modes and much more to be revealed very soon.
The Undead Nightmare Pack will be available simultaneously for download via
PlayStation®Network ($9.99) and Xbox LIVE® (800 Microsoft Points)."
Rockstar is planning on releasing the first screens of the DLC tomorrow, followed by a debut teaser trailer on Thursday. In the meantime, feast your eyes on the tasty, debut artwork above, styled after the main cover of the game, except instead of John Marston, we've got a lovely, headband wearing, gun-toting zombie staring us in the face.
Look out for more info on Red Dead Redemption's Undead Nightmare DLC to be released in the next couple of days, and don't forget, if you want to join in on more Red Dead Redemption discussion you can head on over to the VGH Forums, and if you want to keep up to date with everything VGH, you can "like" us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter over on the right side of the page. Anyways, thanks for reading, and I look forward to hearing what you guys have to say about this new DLC.

Hell. Yes.
The cover looks absolutely fantastic!
This add on sounds like its going to be awesome
Can't wait. I'm holding on to my PSN Pounds for this.
That's some of the best artwork I've seen in awhile
Shouldn't it be more like..."Red Undead Redemption"?
Finally DLC worth getting, why not comeout the gates with this as opposed to Liars Dice and Poker. There has to be acrossbow in this one and bombs, not fancy bombs. I'm talking giant bowling ball, long wick and 5" damage radius.
Lets see, auto aim press up = win.... yup still applies to this, glad to see they are at least bringing john back from the dead.
*jizz*
Yes.
YES.
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!
*Spoilers*
More like, "Daddy, is that you!? I already killed Edgar Ross for you, though!"
*End Spoilers*
Im totally digging the grindhouse horror thing they're going for. Im hoping that mythical creatures means bigfoot!
How much you wanna bet that you get to play John Marston returned from the dead.
Zombies + Open world western + Rockstar game = SWEET!
